I'll be posting more work on there than I do here. I'm currently halfway through a personal project - 30 DAYS OF SQUIDS. I've doing 30 variations on my squid mascot, one a day for 30 days. Well I got my 360 back from being repaired yesterday and rushed out to pick up Saint's Row 2. I'd enjoyed the first one and after finishing the storyline in GTA4 I was looking for something to entertain me. The intro just managed to hold my attention but after spending 40mins going through the hundreds of options for customizing my character, I was bored. I played another 20 minutes before feeling a little nauseous from the horrific car handling, and decided to go back to work. GTA4 had me hooked at the screen for 8hrs on the day it came out, Saints Row 2 turned me away after around an hour. I'll probably write up more thoughts on it over at my blog [ [link] ] but for now, I'm going back to GTA4 to take out those 200 pigeons.

For all of those lucky people in Brisbane, this friday night is the opening of a group show I'm in. Its called "The Illustrators" and will take place at KILN gallery, Paddington (Cnr Latrobe Tce & Enoggera Tce). Theres an online preview for all those that can't make it, or want to check it out beforehand here - [link] (current for a few weeks).

Just a quick note to let anyone thats going to be in Brisbane in the next few days know that I'll have some work (last 5 paintings) on display at Juggler's Artspace - [link] as part of BARIfest - [link] The show opens this friday (August 29) at around 6pm. I think there will be about 40 other artists with work on display. Hope to see some of you there.
